Today (Saturday), we docked in Dunedin. Dunedin was a Scottish settlement on the south
island of New Zealand. It is a pretty,
friendly town of about 125,000 people.
It has a lot of beautiful old buildings, many built in the 1800s. Our
day didn’t start to well, as I left my knapsack containing my camera and laptop
on the shuttle bus. After a lot of panic
and rushing back to the ship, we recovered it.
When we got back downtown, we took the walking tour of the city.
The town boasted two beautiful cathedrals, one Anglican and one Presbyterian.
There were lots of old, well preserved buildings.
The train station was a magnificant old building.
Being of Scottish heritage, they played homage to Robbie Burns.
Yes they still have telephone booths that look very British.
Realxing at an outdoor cafe, enjoying the performances.
The bands all did a great job. They clearly loved this Scottish tradition.
Relaxing on deck as we sailed away

Oh good! I checked earlier today and got the message it was shut down. I was worried you lost all of your posts! Glad to see you are up and running again.
