Ga Day! We arrived safely in Sydney after a very long journey (close to 24 hours of traveling). However, the flight was actually not that bad. We had upgraded to bulkhead seats and had lots of leg room. Because we left in the evening, we were able to get some sleep. We arrived in Sydney to rain from Cyclone Oswald that is passing through. We have a great apartment right downtown, with a fantastic view from the 33rd floor balcony. We found a grocery store close by and have stocked up on essentials. We did find a great pub for lunch and were able to sample some of Australia's best wine and ale. Tomorrow we will checkout the city on the hop-on hop-off bus.
